Prabhas  (born  Venkata Satyanarayana Prabhas Raju Uppalapati   on 23 October 1979) is an  Indian film  actor best known for his work in  Telugu cinema .  Prabhas made his film debut with the 2002 drama film  Eeswar . His works include  Varsham  (2004),  Chatrapathi  (2005),  Chakram  (2005),  Billa (2009),  Darling  (2010),  Mr. Perfect  (2011), and  Mirchi  (2013). On Wednesday, the Senate Standing committee on Religious Affairs unanimously approved the Ehteram-e-Ramazan (Amendment) Bill, 2017 which seeks to punish hotel owners violating the law with fines ranging from Rs500 to Rs25,000. Additionally, the bill also imposes a fine of Rs500 and prison sentence of up to three months for people seen smoking or eating in public during the holy month.
