The  International Indian Film Academy Awards  (also known as the  IIFA Awards ) are a set of awards presented annually by the International Indian Film Academy to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in  Bollywood , the  Hindi language  film industry. Instituted in 2000, the ceremony is held in different countries around the world every year with the most  recent one being held in East Rutherford,  New Jersey  on 14-15 July 2017. The  IIFA Utsavam  is the  South Indian  segment of the annual IIFA Awards. The awards were introduced in 2016, around the films released in 2015. The  1st IIFA Utsavam  was held on 24 and 25 January 2016 at the  Gachibowli Athletic Stadium ,  Hyderabad ,  India . The first awards were presented in 2000 at The  Millennium Dome  in  London ,  United Kingdom . The award ceremony was introduced in 1992 by Kamal Dandona, the head of  The Bollywood Group  and was originally titled, "Nataraj Awards." It was renamed  Bollywood Movie Awards  in 1997.  Michael Jackson  won a  Humanitarian Award  in 1999,  Richard Gere  a  Man of Conscience  award, and  Sharon Stone  an award connected to her work with  AIDS . During the 2007 ceremonies,  Danny Glover  received an award for  Outstanding Contribution to Global Entertainment  and  Mira Nair  for  Pride of India Award .   Phylicia Rashad  and  Donald Trump  also made appearances.  These awards are given to those well deserving due to their excellent skills of acting and those who know the craft. They are applaudedon several occasions inclusing those of IIFA and Filmfare awards.

Sanjay Balraj Dutt  (born 29 July 1959) is an  Indian film  actor and producer known for his work in Hindi cinema ( Bollywood ).
