International Indian Film Academy Awards IIFA

The  International Indian Film Academy Awards  (also known as the  IIFA Awards ) are a set of awards presented annually by the International Indian Film Academy to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in  Bollywood , the  Hindi language  film industry. Instituted in 2000, the ceremony is held in different countries around the world every year with the most  recent one being held in East Rutherford,  New Jersey  on 14-15 July 2017. The  IIFA Utsavam  is the  South Indian  segment of the annual IIFA Awards. The awards were introduced in 2016, around the films released in 2015. The  1st IIFA Utsavam  was held on 24 and 25 January 2016 at the  Gachibowli Athletic Stadium ,  Hyderabad ,  India . The first awards were presented in 2000 at The  Millennium Dome  in  London ,  United Kingdom . Bollywood Movie Awards

The award ceremony was introduced in 1992 by Kamal Dandona, the head of  The Bollywood Group  and was originally titled, "Nataraj Awards." It was renamed  Bollywood Movie Awards  in 1997.  Michael Jackson  won a  Humanitarian Award  in 1999,  Richard Gere  a  Man of Conscience  award, and  Sharon Stone  an award connected to her work with  AIDS . During the 2007 ceremonies,  Danny Glover  received an award for  Outstanding Contribution to Global Entertainment  and  Mira Nair  for  Pride of India Award .   Phylicia Rashad  and  Donald Trump  also made appearances.  These awards are given to those well deserving due to their excellent skills of acting and those who know the craft. They are applaudedon several occasions inclusing those of IIFA and Filmfare awards.

Sanjay Balraj Dutt

Sanjay Balraj Dutt  (born 29 July 1959) is an  Indian film  actor and producer known for his work in Hindi cinema ( Bollywood ). The son of veteran Hindi film actors  Sunil Dutt  and  Nargis Dutt , he made his acting debut in 1981 and has since appeared in more than 100  Hindi films . Although Dutt has enjoyed great success as a lead actor in genres ranging from romance to comedy, it has been the roles of gangsters, thugs and police officers in the drama and action genres that have won him much appreciation. The Indian media and audiences alike popularly refer to him as  Deadly Dutt  for his larger-than-life portrayals of such characters. In a film career spanning more than 35 years, Dutt has won two  Filmfare Awards , two  IIFA Awards , two  Bollywood Movie Awards , three  Screen Awards , three  Stardust Awards , a  Global Indian Film Award  and a  Bengal Film Journalist's Association Award . Shah Rukh Khan  (born  Shahrukh Khan ; 2 November 1965), also known as  SRK , is an Indian film actor, producer and television personality. Referred to in the media as the " Badshah  of Bollywood", "King of Bollywood", "King Khan", he has appeared in more than 80 Bollywood films, and earned  numerous accolades , including 14  Filmfare Awards . Prabhas  (born  Venkata Satyanarayana Prabhas Raju Uppalapati   on 23 October 1979) is an  Indian film  actor best known for his work in  Telugu cinema .  Prabhas made his film debut with the 2002 drama film  Eeswar . His works include  Varsham  (2004),  Chatrapathi  (2005),  Chakram  (2005),  Billa (2009),  Darling  (2010),  Mr. Perfect  (2011), and  Mirchi  (2013).
